The Sidney Street Market is back for the season, and the first weekly market of the year kicked off this week.
On each Thursday from June 6 to Sept. 5, thousands of people are expected to flock to downtown Sidney to enjoy the street market, which runs from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. each night. Best Coast Distillers has started attending with our booth to offer tastings, sell our products and meet & greet the thousands of locals, and visitors to the peninsula! We had our inaugural market last week with a huge success as we sold out of product! We spoke to many people who were either seasoned Whisky enthusiasts or newbies to the coffee/alcohol option. Both enjoyed our “Tasting Journey” where we go from smelling the Cold Brew Coffee Whisky to tasting straight to trying an infusion of either Coconut milk or citrus. Both are the base of many cocktails, which left many with a sensory understanding of how best to explore using our products in refreshing beverages.
